The Wisconsin STD Prevention Project provides continuing education and resources for publicly funded STD service providers located in Wisconsin.
EPT was signed into Wisconsin law in May 2010 to enable physicians, physician assistants, and certified advanced practice nurses to prescribe, dispense or furnish medication for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) to partners of patients diagnosed with trichomoniasis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia without conducting a physical examination of the partner.
These EPT brochures are intended to explain the 2009 Wisconsin Act 280 and encourage the use of Expedited Partner Therapy in all STD clinic and pharmacy settings.
